Marquette– Chapter 850 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will hold a two day Air Academy for young people 14 through 17 years of age beginning on Thursday, September 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jacobetti Center at NMU with instruction in navigation, weather, and air safety.
On Saturday, September 10, attendees will meet at Sawyer Airport to participate in an extended flight with a local pilot, tour the air-traffic control tower and visit aircraft maintenance facilities.
