Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a class titled “The Art of Jewelry – African Zulu Pattern” on Monday, August 22 at 1 p.m. at Cohodas Hall Room 404-A.
Mary Ann Theis, certified by the Gemological Institute of America, will teach inexperienced beaders the traditional African Zulu pattern by creating a bracelet. Participants should bring scissors and small hand towels, as well as reading glasses, if necessary.
Cost for the class is $15 for NCLL members and $20 for others, which includes the beading kit and use of materials.
