Marquette – The annual VFC sponsored summer carnival for members of the D. J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans will be held on Saturday, August 13 beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the back parking lot of the facility at 425 Fisher Street in Marquette.
The members will be treated an afternoon of carnival games, prizes and music. They will also be served hot dogs, brats, ice cream, pop, popcorn, and potato chips.
The VFC council would like to invite family members and friends of the home’s members to join in on the afternoon of fun. There will be games for the younger children. The event is not, however, open to the general public.
