Ishpeming – NICE Community Schools will host a guest artist presentation from Japanese painter Mayumi Kakimi on Wednesday, October 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Aspen Ridge Elementary and Middle School.
Mayumi will be traveling to the U.P. from Marquette's sister city Higashiomi, Shiga, Japan, and will have an exhibit at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center in Peter White Pubic Library in Marquette.
