Marquette Township Hosting A National “Day” Out Event

MARQUETTE, MI – Great Lakes Radio News – A popular event designed to get neighbors and community members acquainted with their law enforcement, fire and rescue personnel is coming up this Saturday in Marquette. The Marquette Township Fire Department is hosting a “National Day Out” gathering as part of events going on at Lions Field.

Marquette Township Fire Department Captain and Township Board of Trustees Member Dan Pompo joined Sunny 101.9’s Mark & Walt in the Morning today to preview what’s going on this weekend. He outlined what departments will be taking part in the event and also what food items are being cooked up by the firemen for purchase by the general public.
