Marquette – Traditional Irish music with Siusan O’Rourke and Zig Zeitler will be offered on Thursday, August 11 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Music of the Irish-American heartland is the focus of the evening with this exceptional Michigan duo- performers, singers, songsmiths, multi-instrumentalists and owners of the White Crow Conservatory, one of the state’s premier folk venues. Together Zig and Siusan bring years of craft and performing savvy to the stage, 21st-century artists embodying the best that Irish seeds have produced from American soil.
There is no admission charge to attend the presentation which is part of the Novel Destinations Adult Summer Reading Program of the Peter White Public Library.
