Pioneer Days Are Underway In Negaunee, MI

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The annual summertime blast known as Pioneer Days is underway in Negaunee, MI. This week-long event features a wide array of community-based activities ranging from an alumni softball tournament to a parade and fireworks.

Kimme Peterson, President of the Negaunee Irontown Association, joined Walt Lindala this morning at the Sunny 101.9 Studios to talk about this weekend’s activities. The parade, community picnic and fireworks are all happening tomorrow and are some of the most popular parts of the whole Pioneer Days period.
