Ishpeming – Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum will participate in Museum Day, sponsored by Smithsonian magazine,on Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Museum Day museums and cultural institutions nationwide open their doors free of charge to Smithsonian magazine readers and Smithsonian.com visitors.
Attendees must present Smithsonian magazine's Museum Day Admission Card to gain free entry. The card is available in the September issue of Smithsonian magazine, and a downloadable version is available at www.smithsonian.com/museumday.
