Ishpeming – The Firecracker 5K race and 1 mile walk will take place Saturday, July 2 along the ski trails at the Al Quaal recreation area in Ishpeming.
Registration will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the pavillion, with the race at 9:45 a.m. The entry fee is $15. All proceeds are donated to area youth organizations.
There will be awards for first through third place in all age groups, and all participants will receive a T-shirt, while they last. There will also be a goodies table for the participants.
