Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will sponsor a leisurely paddle down the Chocolay River on Thursday, June 30 beginning at noon at the Chocolay Marina.
No experience is necessary for this easygoing river trip, with guide kayaker Mark Roby. Participants should bring a kayak/canoe, along with lunch and a beverage.
Kayak rentals are available at the Lower Harbor for $20 for a half day. Kayaks may be reserved by calling 228-5447.
