K.I.Sawyer The Lake Superior Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association will offer free Young Eagle airplane flights to area youths age 8 to 17 on Saturday, September 20.
Registration will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the general aviation terminal at Sawyer International Airport.
Flights will take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
A parent or legal guardian is required to complete on-site registration. Each ride lasts approximately 15 minutes, with an additional 15-minute informational session on flying and aircraft safety. Flights may be canceled and rescheduled if weather conditions are unfavorable.
