Marquette – Child and Family Services of the Upper Peninsula will sponsor a Family Fun Carnival on Saturday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.
Featured will be an inflatable slide, a bounce house, a fortune teller, dunk tank, face painting, prizes and games. Concessions will also be on site.
CFS is also sponsoring a Pie in the Face FUNdraiser. The three local celebrities who receive the most votes will be hit in the face with pies at 3 p.m. at the carnival. A ballot listing the celebrities is available online at www.cfsup.org, and votes cost $2 each. Last-minute votes will be accepted at the carnival until 3 p.m.
Admission to the carnival is $5 for families with three members or fewer, $10 for families of four or more. Proceeds will benefit CFS.
