Sands – The 6th Annual Great Lakes Rodeo will be held Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19 at the Marquette County Fair Grounds in Sands.
Events begin with team pulling on Saturday at 11 a.m. A meet and greet with Rodeo Royalty will be at noon, the first rodeo performance at 6 p.m., and a Barn Dance will be held at 9 p.m. with music by Bordertown.
Sunday activities include a Jack Pot Speed event at 9 a.m. and the second rodeo performance at 2 p.m.
Advance tickets are available at Lake Superior Community Partnership and at Fat Boys in Marquette and Gwinn. Ticket prices in advance are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 10 years. Gate prices will be $12 for adults and $6 for children.
