Houghton – Diversi-Teas will be held on Thursday, September 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Alumni Loungs in the Memorial Union Building on the campus of MTU in Houghton.
Batucobre, a community group doing Brazilian percussion, will play and lead a discussion on “Crossing Borders with Music: Anyone can become a Brazilian percussionist.”
Diversi-Teas are a monthly gathering for Michgan Tech students, faculty, staff, and community members. Join them and interact with local and national experts to learn, discuss, and broaden our perspectives on the many aspects of diversity. Tea and cookies will be served.
