Calendar – Music – Bluesday Tuesday – June 14

Marquette – In appreciation of the blues, the Peter White Public Library will host a Bluesday Tuesday event titled “The Blues Had a Baby & They Named It Rock n’ Roll!” on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room.

The program will feature a live performance by local blues trio Three Wise Men, featuring Walt Lindala and Mark Johnson from The Flat Broke Blues Band, along with Don Thoma, previously with Loose Gravel.

The trio will take the audience on a musical journey showing how rock and roll grew out of classic blues.
