Fourth Of July Plans In Marquette, MI

(MARQUETTE, MI) – Although it’s colder out than it should be for this time of year, planning is in full swing for the annual 4th of July celebration in the City of Marquette. The final touches are being put into place for another great parade, fireworks and all kinds of other fun activities.

Marquette Area 4th of July Committee spokesperson Deb Nance stopped in at the Sunny Studios today to discuss the schedule of events. She also told us that the all-volunteer committee is still raising funds for all of the events and they are always happy to meet up with new volunteers. She said that all events will be held on the 4th of July and if there is a rain out, the fireworks will be held on the night of the 5-th.
