Marquette – Brian Roell, wildlife biologist and wolf coordinator for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, will present a program titled “Michigan Cougars” on Wednesday, September 10 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Sponsored by the Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society, the program will cover the general biology and history of cougars in Michigan, along with tips for identifying cougars and their tracks in the field.
Roell also will address some of the growing myths about cougars in the state of Michigan.
