(MARQUETTE, MI) – Get on your bikes and Tour Da U.P.! Enjoy the beautiful Upper Peninsula on your bike this summer and help out Yooper kids and families at the same time. Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan is presenting the annual “Tour Da U.P.” this August.

Mike Smith and Rich Rossway with Teaching Family Homes stopped by the Sunny 101.9 studios this morning to chat with Mark Evans about event that will run from August 7th to the 11th. They explained how the event is set up for riders of all ages and all skill levels and will start in Harvey, head to Munising, then to Gran Marais and finally back to Harvey.

The event works as a fund raiser for Teaching Family Homes by having the riders pay a fee to take part and they also solicit pledges for financial donations to the agency. The agency then uses all proceeds to fund their various programs and activities.
