Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Afternoon Classic film series will screen “The Hustler” on Friday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
Based on the 1959 novel, the film tells the story of small-time pool hustler “Fast Eddie” Felson, played by Paul Newman. Fast Eddie wants to prove himself the best player in the country by beating legendary pool player “Minnesota Fats,” played by Jackie Gleason.
