Marquette – Relive the days of old time radio with Turn Back the Dial: 80th Anniversary of WBEO on Wednesday, May 18 at 6 pm. at the Marquette Regional History Center.
This evening will feature local radio’s Golden Voices of the 30’s through the 80’s. Identify these famous radio
personalities from behind the mystery curtain. Then enjoy a 45 minute live show with music, jingles and comedy. Join the cast of Fibber McGee and Molly, starring Monica Nordeen as Molly, John Sarkela as
Fibber, Rusty Bowers as Sissy and Vivian Lascich as Mrs. Uppington. Live sound effects promise to keep you roaring with laughter.
Light appetizers and desserts have been generously donated by Gophers Cafe and Coco’s. Tickets are $25 for members, $30 for non-members. All of the profits support the Marquette Regional History Center, a 501©3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of local history.
