Marquette – The Ninth Annual First Nation's Food Taster will be held on Friday, November 13 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the Jacobetti Center on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
The menu includes traditional and contemporary Native dishes with bison, venison, wild rice, fried bread and desserts.
Advanced tickets, available until November 5 at 5 p.m., are $10 for the general public and $4 for NMU students with id, which will be checked at the door. Tickets at the door are $12 for the public and $5 for students and children under 13.
All proceeds benefit the Native American Student Association, which promotes events related to Native American heritage and culture.
