Marquette – Documentary filmmaker Dhar Anirban Onir will screen his 2005 film, “My Brother Nikhil,” on Wednesday, November 4 at 5 p.m. in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building at Northern Michigan University.
Following the film Onir will lead a discussion about being a socially engaged filmmaker in Bollywood.
“My Brother Nikhil” is 1989 story of Dominic Souza, who was diagnosed with one of India's first cases of HIV and was arrested and quarantined for his condition.
