Marquette – Roman’s Day at the Beach will be held on Thursday, April 7 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the U.P. Children’s Museum in Marquette.
There will be food, music, and fun in honor of Roman Body, a 6 year old from Marquette who was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Roman is a great little boy, and this day is just for him. Proceeds from admission are going to Roman Body in honor of his courageous fight.
There will be Wii’s for music games (Rock Band, Rapstar), activities for the kids to make special presents for Roman, and live music entertainment from Kerry Yost and friends, DJ Mo, and DJ Rockwell. The Marquette Informal Longboarding Foundation will have a booth set up to talk about their World Record Parade and also teach kids about longboarding.
Goodie basket raffles will be held for the parents. This day is going to be full of life, love, and the celebration of those who fight everyday to live their life to the fullest.
