Marquette – A Cause for Paws Benefit Dinner and Dance, for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, will be held on Saturday, May 7 at UpFront and Company in downtown Marquette.
Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Dancing will follow with live music provided by Bordertown. The evening will be MC’d by Doug Garrison.
Menu selections will include Citrus Herb Whitefish, Chicken Parmesan, Bacon Wrapped Filet, and a vegetarian option, Roasted Tomato and Artichoke Orzo. Joes’s Cakes will be providing the desserts.
The event will also feature fantastic raffles and door prizes. All proceeds will benefit the shelter.
Tickets are $45 per person and are available at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, Mares Z Doats, Marquette Pediatric Dentistry, the Pet Stop, Super One Foods in Negaunee, Doggie Styles Pet Grooming in Ishpeming, and the Richmond Township office in Palmer.
