Ishpeming – Local geologist Andy Ware will give a PowerPoint presentation on minerals found in northern Marquette County at the meeting of the Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club on Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming.
A silent auction of mineral specimens and a business meeting will follow the program. Bornite, or peacock ore, is the mineral of the month. Club members will display specimens from their collections.
