Brian Peters, Executive Vice President of the Michigan Health and Hospital Association, called in to discuss Enroll Michigan. It is a coalition of Michigan hospitals, school districts and community health centers which has launched a campaign to enroll eligible children in Michigan to one of the state’s free or low-cost health insurance programs. They are either MIChild or Healthy Kids.
They have created a website that makes the sign up an easy process in an attempt to get more children covered for health care in Michigan.
