NATIVE AMERICAN STUDENTS AT NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY HOST ANNUAL POW WOW

Charlene Brissette, a member of the Native American Student Association at Northern Michigan University, joined Mark & Walt to discuss the 19-th Annual “Learning to Walk Together” Traditional Pow Wow. The event is coming up this Saturday at the Vandament Arena on campus. Charlene gave a run down of the schedule of events at the pow wow and also talked about what people can expect to see, hear and smell if they come by.

The doors open at 11-am on Saturday and there will be Grand Entries at 12 noon and 6-pm. The pow wow is open to the public and admission is free for NMU students and $5.00 for general public.
