Marquette – Northern Michigan University will mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and celebrate Women’s History Month with a series of March activities. This year’s theme is “Our History is Our Strength.”
A Northern Michigan University distinguished women faculty presentation, featuring Tawni Ferrarini, Jill Leonard, Eileen Smit and moderator Christine Flavin will be offered on Friday, March 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Superior Room of NMU’s University Center.
The event is free and open to the public.
