Negaunee – The Marquette County Humane Society, 84 Snowfield Road, Negaunee, will host a Fabulously Freaky Friday Adopt-A-Thon on Friday, October 30 from noon to 6 p.m.
Refreshments will be served, and MCHS volunteers will be in costume.
Pick a lucky ticket from the pumpkin to receive a 20 to 50 percent discount off the adoption fee of any pet adopted that day. The adoption fee includes initial vaccines, spay or neuter surgery, a 4-pound bag of Science Diet food, an Animal Planet DVD about adopted pets and a special extra treat.
