Negaunee – A Community Baby Shower will be held on Friday, April 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Hall.
Sponsored by several area businesses and service organizations, this provides pregnant mothers or mothers with infants up to six months old an opportunity to attend a baby shower, get information and receive baby items they otherwise would do without.
The community is asked to help with the shower by donating food, decorations, gift-wrapping or to purchase baby gifts or gift cards to be given to the attendees.
Monetary donations can be mailed to the Marquette County Health Department in care of Lori Marta, with checks made out to Marquette County Baby Shower.
Gently used or new baby clothes and items can be also dropped off at the Health Department. For more information, call Lori Marta at 315-2631.
