Marquette – World Day of Prayer will be observed Friday, March 4 at Noon at First Presbyterian Church, 120 N. Front Street, Marquette.
“How many loaves have you?” is the question the Church Women of Chile are asking their sisters around the world to consider as they come together to celebrate World Day of Prayer 2011.
Each member church of Church Women United is asked to bring a loaf of bread as an offering to the Worship Service. Everyone is welcome to attend and to bring a loaf from her congregation.
Following the service of Bible study, music and prayer, Presbyterian women will host a soup and bread luncheon in the church parlors.
