Marquette – The 22nd running of the U.P. 200 Sled Dog Race will begin on Friday, February 18 at 6:30pm with the Opening Ceremonies in downtown Marquette. Join Walt Lindala and Frida Waara in welcoming all of the sponsors, legislators, representatives and spectators to the Race and join with the Marquette Male Chorus under the direction of Wayne Hamner for the singing of our National Anthem while the Marine Corps League Color Guard display our flag with pride.
The official start of the race will be at 7:10 p.m. in downtown Marquette. The race will conclude on Sunday, February 20 in Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette. For more information, go to www.up200.org.
