THE LATEST PRODUCTION AT THE FRT AT NMU

Ansley Valentine, the Director of Theater at Northern Michigan University, and the director of the latest production at the Forest Roberts Theater on campus, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and cast member and NMU student Aaron Sarka joined Mark and Walt to chat about the show. This play is actually a musical that it based on the hit film that starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin. They discussed the challenges of doing a show that is connected to a very popular film and keeping it true to the expectations of the audience who are familiar with the previous work and endeavoring to make it fresh at the same time.

The show starts it’s run at the FRT on the evening of Wednesday, February 16th and runs through the following Saturday night with a Saturday afternoon matinee as well. To listen to the complete interview with Ansley and Aaron, please click below.
