Marquette – The Chinese ensemble Beauty and Melody will perform on Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Forest Roberts Theatre at Northern Michigan University.
The all-female ensemble is composed of young women accomplished in music and dance. The instruments used during their performance include the bamboo flute and wind pipe, along with stringed instruments such as the ruan and pipa.
Advance tickets are $5 for students; $13 for NMU faculty, staff and senior citizens 60 years and older; and $18 for the general public. Tickets at the door cost an additional $2.
