Negaunee – In celebration of the International Year of Astronomy, the Marquette Astronomical Society will sponsor a public astronomy viewing on Friday, October 23 at 8 p.m. in the old parking lot at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee.
In the event of poor viewing conditions the viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24. Participants will view the moon, Jupiter, and other night sky objects.
