Marquette – The Peter White Public Library will host a “Murder in Vegas” interactive party night on Friday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room.
Participants high school age and older are invited to celebrate during a party of epic proportions at the library’s “Paramount Casino,” hosted by casino owner Ronald Trump. Vegas style costumes are encouraged as party guests try to discover who committed the “murder” that happens during the celebration. Gaming tables, casino decor, refreshments and music will add to the fun as guests try to figure out whodunit.
Twenty amateur actors can opt to receive character assignments ahead of time. To assume a Vegas persona and provide key clues for solving the mystery, call 226-4323 to sign up for one of the main character roles. Mix and mingle as an Elvis impersonator, senator, cocktail waitress or more.
This event will kick off the Midwinter Storytelling Festival which runs through March and features events that celebrate the art of the well told tale.
There is no admission charge. For more information, call the library or visit www.pwpl.info.
