Marquette – Former Northern Michigan University professor and international banking consultant Jesse W. Wright, Ph.D. will present a four-part lecture series “The History of Financial Crises: Bubbles, Panics and Crashes” will be offered at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 3 through 24 in the Shiras Room at Peter White Public Library.
Wright will compare the financial crisis of today with past economic meltdowns.Topics will also include how the recent crisis came about, what the warning signs were, and what lessons can be learned for the future.
