Negaunee Throughout January, the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter is offering a New Year, New Shelter Cat adoption promotion, with special adoption rates on kittens and cats.
Kittens age 4 months and younger will be offered at a 25 percent discount, while older kittens and cats will be available at a 50 percent discount.
Adoption includes the spay/neuter, initial vaccines, a free I.D. tag, a 4-pound bag of Science Diet pet food, an Animal Planet Training DVD and more. The shelter has a large number of cats and kittens, including Patches, pictured, seeking new homes.
