Marquette – Applications are now available for the summer youth exchange program sponsored by Rotary clubs in the Upper Peninsula and Wisconsin. Approximately 50 exchanges are available for students ages 15-19; each exchange lasts three to four weeks.
American students will live with a host family in one of 15 countries. When they return, their host brother or sister will return with them and stay in their homes to experience American life.
Cost for program participation is $200, which includes supplemental medical and accident insurance, orientation meeting expenses and administration costs. Room, board, recreation and sightseeing are provided by the host families. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Those received later may have fewer choices of countries. Applications must be returned by February 28.
