Marquette – Tasty Reads, a book group for readers who love to cook, will meet to discuss “Cooking for Harry” by Kay-Marie Jameson on Monday, January 19 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Dandelion Cottage Room at the Peter White Public Library.
“Cooking for Harry” is the warm, humorous story of Harry, a fabulous gourmet cook who is told by his physician he must lose weight or face losing his life. Harry stops cooking and begins exercising. His wife of many years, Francie, is supportive and takes over the cooking and shopping duties. The family’s new low-carb diet produces unexpected results for their relationship.
