Bob Vick and Lani Duquette, with the K.I. Sawyer Heritage Air Museum, visited the Sunny 101.9 studios this morning to chat with Mark Evans about their efforts to gather volunteers, community support and money to keep the museum going. If the museum closes, the static display aircraft that currently are kept on the former base will be dismantled and removed from the grounds, thus ending a rich piece of history in Marquette County. A decision by the museum’s board of directors is expected by this spring.
