Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS) is hosting a Home 4 the Holidays Open House on Thursday, December 16 from noon to 7:30 p.m. at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
The community is invited to take a tour of the shelter, meet the shelter staff, volunteers, and board members as well as all the wonderful pets. Enjoy baked goods and refreshments.
Pets for adoption will have special adoption offers plus all adopted pets will go home with a Christmas stocking gift package, donated by caring supporters.
Pick a candy cane from Santa’s special stocking for your special adoption rate savings of 50 to 75 percent off the listed adoption rate of any pet for adoption. Plus,there is a chance to win a 100 percent paid for adoption donated by a caring supporter.
Adoption fee includes the pets spay or neuter surgery, initial vaccinations (including rabies vaccine), a general health check, 4 lb. bag of Science Diet dry food, an Iam Home for the Holidays package and more.
