Ishpeming – The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will meet on Sunday, November 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming.
Larry and Pat Ward of Munising will present Fossils, Face to Face, an overview of their experiences collecting fossils and sites they have visited.They will display fossil skulls and replicas of Albertasaurus, Dire Wolf, Dinictus (false saber-cat), Smilodon, oreodonts as well as other vertebrate and invertebrate fossils.
Club members will display fossils from their collections also. A silent auction of mineral specimens and a business meeting will follow the program. For more information, call 228-9422.
