Marquette – The film “The Vertical Ray of the Sun” will be shown on Tuesday, October 13 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library as part of the One Book One Community and Great Michigan Read programs.
This slow-paced, visually stunning movie was filmed in Vietnam and explores the lives of three sisters and their relationships during a Vietnamese summer. The film is in Vietnamese with English subtitles and is rated PG-13.
