Marquette – Messiah Lutheran Church will host a traditional Tanzanian meal on Sunday, October 11 at 12:30 p.m. in Magnuson Hall on W. Magnetic Street in Marquette.
Admission is by free-will donation. Following the meal, there will be a presentation by the Rev. Timothy Bernard, associate pastor for Messiah and St. Marks churches.
Bernard will discuss his recent mission trip to Tanzania. Emmanuel Shayo, an NMU graduate student, will teach a song in Swahili.
