Marquette – The Marquette County Conservation District will sponsor its 55th annual Natural Resources Festival on Thursday, November 4 from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Marquette Mountain.
The event will feature presentations by staff members highlighting the activities and programs of the conservation district and community stewardship award.
Guest presenters will include Phyllis Higman of the Michigan Natural Features Inventory speaking about unwanted plants invading the Upper Peninsula, and Jack Deo with a program titled “Marquette Time Machine, a 3-D Perspective of Life in the Upper Peninsula.”
The event is free and open to all ages. Included will be refreshments and a cash bar. For more information, call 226-2461, ext. 5.
