Marquette – Church Women United will sponsor a World Community Day program on Friday, November 5 at 1 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette.
In conjunction with the theme “Building the Beloved Community,” Voices for Youth staff will present a program on how the Marquette community meets the basic needs of homeless youth. A dessert/coffee fellowship will follow the program.
Church Women United is an ecumenical movement of Protestant, Roman Catholic, Orthodox and other women and men from Christian traditions. For more information, call 225-1119.
