Marquette – Lon Emerick will hold a booksigning for his new book, “Paradise North – Seasons in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan,” on Saturday, October 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Snowbound Books in Marquette.
Emerick will be joined by local artist Mark Mitchell, who is the photographer for many of the book’s full-color photographs of the Upper Peninsula.
Emerick is the author of university textbooks and professional articles, as well as several U.P. books, including “Going Back to Central Mine,” “The Superior Peninsula” and “You Wouldn’t Like it Here.”
