Fresh Film Showing Oct. 5

Marquette – The film “Fresh” will be shown on Monday, October 5 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall Room 102 at Northern Michigan University.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a discussion period after the film, and information on local food, farming and sustainability matters will be shared.

This film examines U.S. food issues from a fresh perspective, showing us what is wrong by highlighting what is being done right.

Admission free for students, $2 for the general public. This event is sponsored by the Marquette Food Co-op, with support from NMU's Environmental Science Organization and Students for Sustainable Living.
