Big Bay – Save the Wild U.P will present a concert by Claudia Schmidt on Friday, October 22 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the historic Thunder Bay Inn in Big Bay. There will be a social hour at 5:30 p.m. featuring local musicians, Michigan wine and cheese selections and a silent auction of works donated by local artists.
Michigan native Schmidt describes herself as a “creative noisemaker,” and her concert selections may include hymns, poems, bawdy verse, torch songs or satire.
Tickets are available at the SWUP office, Big Bay Outfitters or by calling 228-4444. Tickets cost $25 for the general public, $20 for students. Seating is limited.
